| Abstract |
| This study introduces a novel dual-port MIMO slot antenna meticulously tailored for UWB wireless communications, with a notable emphasis on orchestrating efficient filtering the WLAN band. The fundamental construct entails the incorporation of a pair of ingeniously modified arc-shaped structures, each assuming the role of radiation stubs. These are harmoniously complemented by a shared ground plane, collectively orchestrated within a planar configuration that showcases a spacious circular-ring slot. Furthermore, the arc-shaped stubs are adorned with a symmetrical pairing of rotated L-shaped slits, strategically conceived to usher forth the generation of a filtering notch. An extensive assessment of the study's outcomes reveals that the antenna system's operational prowess is pronounced within the frequency expanse of 3 GHz to 10.7 GHz, thereby engendering comprehensive coverage across the UWB spectrum. The meticulous evaluation spans a gamut of performance metrics, encompassing the examination of scattering parameters, three-dimensional radiation patterns, efficiency, and gain levels. The findings compellingly manifest that the suggested low-profile UWB antenna design efficaciously attains the desirable performance thresholds, endowing it with considerable potential to assume a pivotal role within the realm of advanced wireless communication endeavors. |
